The Yearbook series
I’VE BEEN SITTING ON THIS IDEA FOR LITERALLY YEARS. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG TO JUST DO IT. PART OF ME FELT LIKE I WANTED MY SET AND PRODUCTION TO BE MORE ADVANCED. PART OF ME HAS THIS BAD HABIT OF WANTING TO DO SOMETHING, GETTING ANXIOUS ABOUT IT, THEN ENDLESSLY PROCRASTINATING. EITHER WAY, I’M HAPPY I FINALLY BROUGHT THIS IDEA TO LIFE. I WANTED TO DISPLAY MY TAKE ON HIGH SCHOOL STEREOTYPES, WHILE KEEPING THE VINTAGE OLD-SCHOOL EDIT TO GIVE THE VIEWER THAT NOSTALGIC TOUCH. EACH MODEL IS A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE, AND I’M SO GRATEFUL THEY DECIDED TO BE A PART OF MY VISION. AND SHOUT OUT TO CHERRELLE FOR HELPING ME ALONG THE WAY. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE YEARBOOK SERIES.
